About Competition

Since its inception in 2001, the Rotary Club of Bombay Kandivli (RCBK) has been conducting Annual Painting Competition on the Republic Day for school children from schools in Mumbai with an objective of stimulating creativity and generating awareness about socially relevant issues in young minds. Over the years this competition has been conducted on several socially relevant topics such as environmental protection, cleanliness, water conservation etc.

The competition has become an annual event to which many schools look forward for participation. From the year 2015-16, the competition was converted into interschool format.

This year the competition will be conducted Offline. The themes for the Competition are Junior Group and Senior Group : Architectural Heritage Of Mumbai .

The competition is open for schools in Mumbai, Thane & Palghar districts.
